Bevery Alkow Board Certified Acupuncturist

Beverly Alkow completed her Doctorate of Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City. She is licensed by the states of New Jersey,New York, and Florida. She is  Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) as both an Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. Before studying acupuncture she studied at New York University, and obtained a M.S. from Syracuse University. She has been trained in the fundamentals of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Oriental Medicine. She also has a working knowledge of the three different types of acupuncture modalities (TCM, Japanese, and Five Element), giving her an in-depth skill set to work with. Through her work with U.S. Veterans at the VA hospital in New Jersey, she has gained extremely broad treatment knowledge, and is comfortable treating all types of medical pain and psychological issues. Beverly believes that people of all ages, and all walks of like can benefit from acupuncture to gain energy, feel better, and lead a more balanced life.
